This community library serves patrons of all ages with a wide-range of materials, services and programming.   The building, originally constructed in 1991, was renovated and expanded in 2009 as part of the 2006 DeKalb County Library Bond Program.  In 1997, it was renamed for former library director Barbara Loar.
