As the third oldest branch in DeKalb County, the Brookhaven Library, a community branch, has served the citizens of the Brookhaven area of northwest DeKalb County since 1951. The current building was completed in 1955, renovated in 1991 and is scheduled for replacement as part of the current Library Bond Project.
