The current 18,000 square foot building opened for service in June, 2009, replacing the former 9,335 square foot building which has served the community since 1966. The library is named for Mrs. Avis G. Williams, whose leadership spearheaded the effort by the Clairmont/Toco Hill/LaVista community to establish a library in the area.
