DeKalb County’s CEO Vernon Jones, County Commissioners, and the Trustees of DeKalb County Public Library invite the public to attend a ground breaking ceremony for the new Tucker–Reid H. Cofer Library. The event will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 19 at the corner of Lawrenceville Highway and Lavista Road – site of the new library. See the designs for the new, 25,000 square foot, state-of-the-art library; hear about its unique features and learn about the benefits to the community. |

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the DeKalb County Public Library presents films, music, dance, food, and story programs celebrating the rich culture of Hispanic and Latino Americans. All programs are free and open to the public.
