Neither a class nor a workshop, the Forum offers adult writers an opportunity to share their original creative writings of up to 500 words or five minutes of reading time. Excepts of longer works can include a plot synopsis as part of the reading time. Works should be appropriate for family audiences. Readings are followed by brief, facilitated discussions where audience members offer balanced feedback, including ideas for expansion and improvement. The Forum is open to writers of all experience levels and writing enthusiasts. No advance registration; authors who choose to read, sign up at the event, first-come, first served.
