Co-sponsored with the Michael C. Carlos Museum of Emory University; the Atlanta History Center; the Georgia Center for the Book; and the Center for Creativity and the Arts, Emory University, The Fox Center for Humanistic Inquiry and The Georgia Humanities Council present "Around the World in Eighty Clays: A Folk-Pottery Travelogue" a series of lectures presented by Dr. John Burrison, Regent's Professor of English and Director of Folklore Curriculum, Georgia State University.

The Georgia Center for the Book will be the host for the second of three lectures, "Lecture II: European, including British Isles, Pottery", in the Decatur Library Auditorium.

Burrison is the author of Brothers in Clay, and From Mud To Jug, and was one of the featured authors at the Georgia Literary Festival when it was held in Sautee, Georgia.

This will be a special after hours program at the Library, so attendees will need to enter the auditorium through the ground level, rear doors of the Library.
