Pete the Cat Collector Cards
DCPL is celebrating Library Card Sign-Up Month by partnering with the DeKalb Library Foundation and Georgia artist and children's book illustrator James Dean to introduce a limited-edition Pete the Cat "Be a Cool Cat" collector library card that will serve as a fundraiser for the DeKalb Library Foundation. This collector card carries the same privileges, rights and responsibilities as a regular library card and can be renewed every two years with no new donation. "My First Card" library card patrons (ages 0-3 years) are not eligible for the Pete the Cat collector library card. Visit your local library branch or visit the DeKalb Library Foundation page for more information.
You should present your own library card each time you check out materials or access the Internet through Library computers. The responsibility for all materials checked out, and any financial obligations incurred for overdue, lost or damaged materials belongs to you as cardholder. Do not loan your card to others.
Report a Lost or Stolen Card and Get a Replacement
Please report a lost or stolen library card to any branch library as soon as possible. You are responsible for all items checked out on your card until you have reported it lost. The Library charges $1.00 to replace a lost card.
