About Literacy ActionFor over 29 years, Literacy Action, Inc. has taught thousands of non-reading adults along with hundreds of instructors in its learning to learn process. The curriculum focuses on the student's need to believe in his/her own learning capacity and on his/her daily life. These personal interests are incorporated into strategies for teaching basic reading, writing, speaking, thinking and study skills. The materials used to teach these skills evolve from the student and his/her experiences and can help students from 0.0 to Post High School.
