Event Type:Special Events

Imagine if books could talk and tell their own stories. What if books could tell you why they shouldn’t be judged by their covers? The DeKalb County Public Library, in partnership with the Emory University IDEAS Program and the DeKalb Library Foundation, will present the Human Library Project. The Human Library Project will provide a safe space for individuals to “check out” a “living book” and engage in conversations that explore the stereotypes and prejudices that separate us, as well as the similarities that connect us.

Funding provided by Emory University IDEAS Program and DeKalb Library Foundation.
