Remembering World War I: An Engineer's Diary of the War

In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of World War I this year, Dr. Virginia Dilkes will talk about her father's first-hand experiences in the war, based on his memoir,  Remembering World War I: an Engineer's Diary of the War by Charles Edward Dilkes.  Dr. Dilkes also will discuss the geo-political legacies of the war and the participation of troops from Georgia. Refreshments at 6:30 p.m. followed by Dr. Dilkes' presentation at 7:00 p.m.
