During this four week interactive series, participants will gain knowledge on nutritional topics such as making healthy food choices, portion control and meeting nutrition and exercise goals. This program series is presented by UGA Extension of DeKalb County and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program - Education (SNAP-Ed).
April 9: Keeping Track. Learn the value of tracking food intake, goal setting, food journaling and size-estimation skills.
April 16: No Thanks, I'm Sweet Enough. Learn how to read food labels and find hidden sugar in food.
April 23: Small Changes = Big Results. Learn small and easy changes to make every day to achieve big long-term results.
April 30: What Gets In the Weigh? Find solutions to real-life situations that make eating healthy hard.
