ESL classes provide basic through advanced instruction in the speaking, reading, writing, grammar and syntax of English for speakers of other languages.
The library has computers for use in the library plus links to online resources and other services to help you learn.
The Library has test preparation resources for exams such as the GED, ASVAB and many others. We also provide print and audiovisual materials on career guidance.

DeKalb County Public Library supports adult and family learning and English as a second language with special Learning Collections at sixteen branches, spaces for tutoring, classes and meetings, and help for matching students and volunteers with local literacy organizations.
DeKalb County Public Library subscribes to online databases that can be used in any library. Most of the databases can also be used at home.
